Band Programs

Band students playing instruments With more than 60 students, our robust band is one of our largest and most active organizations.  Two levels of Concert Band together perform at home football games and two formal concerts each year, giving students abundant performance experience.  Our advanced Concert Band contributes to worship services at Lutheran congregations located throughout North St. Louis City and county four to five times per year.  This ensemble tours annually.

Band students also compete in judged festivals at the League, District, and State Solo and Ensemble levels.  In 2011-12, Lutheran North students won 10 MSHSAA District Solo and Ensemble Medals and 2 MSHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Medals.  The Concert Band has been recognized with 4 superior ratings from the MSHSAA Large Ensemble Festival throughout the years.
